The weather is becoming nice and warm. You’ve got birds chirping all around you, and the trees are just starting to grow new leaves. Flowers are in full bloom, giving you the opportunity to go on an evening stroll. Everywhere you look, it seems like a pretty picture from the movies.
It’s finally spring, and we’re sure you’re excited about it!
There’s something really sweet about having a wedding in spring.
Its metaphoric idea of welcoming change is a beautiful concept that works well with weddings, don’t you think so?
Getting inspired by the season you’re marrying in is probably one of the best ideas to go about.
We’ve got some ideas for a spring worthy floral themed wedding reception, and we’d love to share them with you.
1. Pastel Color Palette
Since you’re going to be surrounded by everything that is bright and colorful, you want to embrace the contrast and opt for a pastel color palette. Whether we talk about your wedding attire, cake, or invitations, all things pastel would be a wonderful idea.Combine it with some rustic accents to create more of a contrast. Imagine your squad wearing blush pink gowns moving through the venue and lighting up the entire space!
2. Floral Amalgamation
We’re sure you want everything on your wedding day to be executed as planned while going through your wedding theme ideas. Since your spring wedding is going to be filled with the magic of flowers, you should consider involving every attendee in carrying a single bloom in their lapels and dresses! How wonderful would it be to see your friends and family become a part of your wedding in a unique way!
3. Jumpsuits instead of Dresses
If you’re the kind of couple that wants the wedding to be a mix of traditional and modern values, then you must consider wearing a jumpsuit for the big day! You can shop for a jumpsuit in ivory, red, or green color, depending on the color of your traditional attire would have been. This way, the family isn’t entirely disappointed, and your vision for the perfect floral themed wedding dress can come true.
If you can’t have fun during a spring wedding and be free, then what even is the point?
4. Include Swings
If you’re having your wedding celebrations outside, then one of the best ideas would be to include swings in different places of your event location. These will not only keep the kids entertained, but the adults will also get a cool space to click pictures. Make sure you decorate the rope with a veil of flowers and bright green leaves.
5. Make Use of Garden Furniture
When using garden furniture to decorate your floral themed wedding reception, make sure you’ve got it jazzed up a bit. Don’t let the rust show a lot, even if you’re going for the rustic look. Add some topiary plants, cherry blossoms (if you’re around Washington), daffodils, tulips, and other spring plants available in your region with the garden furniture for a wholesome fairy tale wedding!
6. Include Edible Flowers
Spring is the perfect time to take advantage of the flowers in bloom. You can serve up some of the unique food combinations and become a trendsetter. Edible flowers like violas, cornflowers, dianthus, and gomphrena can be used in cakes, cocktails, salads, and literally every other food you’ll serve!
Side note: Make sure you check for any allergies due to these flowers beforehand to avoid mishaps.
On that note, it would be super cool to include some fresh fruits as well.
As a form of welcome snacks, you could serve some fresh apples, pineapples, or kiwis or juice them up for easy serving!
Your floral themed wedding reception will be a hit for sure!
Now, this was just the overall list of things you can do to ensure your wedding is perfect for the spring season.

So, no matter what kind of wedding you want or don’t want, our team of experts will give you the best wedding theme ideas and execute them well.
For example, if we were to plan your spring wedding, we would place a chandelier made with tulips on top of every table. The decor would be subtle, and yet the guests would feel like they’re floating with flowers!
To further enhance the floral look, we would add a floral canopy filled with lupines and delphiniums. Imagine dancing under flowers that smell like heaven!
It truly would be a magical experience!
